The Role

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.

 

This time, we’re on the lookout for a Junior Art Director of Photography (Maternity cover) who will be working with Jason in our Creative Services team.

 

What you will be doing

As Junior Art Director you will be responsible for photography across print, instore POS, digital platforms as well as new season style guides.  You will be managing a team of external Photographers, Producers and Stylists on shoot days, ensuring that everything is delivered to schedule, budget and brief as well as supporting the Designers in their decision making along the way.  Researching and evaluating competitor trends, you will be reviewing and improving processes where needed.  Although the role will mostly be based out of our brand-new Milton Keynes studio, there will also be travel to our London Bridge office.

 

What we are looking for

We are looking for a talented Photographer with solid studio-based Art Direction experience on both still life and model sets.  Ideally coming from a Fashion-based environment, you will also be experienced in delivering imagery in-line with marketing briefs and have excellent verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.  Knowledge of design software including Adobe Bridge, Indesign & Photoshop with the ability to produce and edit InDesign files is also desirable.

Once upon a shirt, Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler (whilst studying Geography at Bristol University – we might add) had the notion that he could make a better shirt at better value than anyone else in the world! Our spiritual home and flagship store is located on London’s famous Jermyn Street. Our Global Head Office is in London Bridge, whilst we also have an office in Manhattan to support our retail and online presence across North America, Europe and Australia. Not forgetting our Distribution Centre and Contact Centre in Milton Keynes.
