Direct Reports: 6 Stock Control Operatives, 2 Warehouse Caretakers, 4 Warehouse Administrators
The role
You’ll assist the Stock & Admin Team Leader and the Stock & Admin Team in delivering a high degree of stock integrity, Order fulfilment and a clean working environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining an amazing performance level and excellent quality of direction to the team on a daily basis. You’ll be working with the Stock & Admin TL to achieve completion of the required tasks, delegating out these to the team and feeding back progress. You’ll ensure other department’s expectations are met by undertaking additional tasks. You’ll be prioritising issues, concerns or general enquiries making sure a timely response is achieved. You’ll also contribute towards maintaining high levels of productivity, employee engagement and a good sense of fun!
Key responsibilities
You’ll execute plans and make decisions to ensure the team deliver the expected level of service to both internal and external customers, performing quality checking and feedback information to the Stock Control & Admin Team. You’ll complete stock reports and screen stock adjustments, ensuring accuracy of system transactions are correct. You’ll be involved in ensuring the Caretaking is in place so we have a safe clear environment to work as well as supporting the order generation process making sure our customers get their order when they expect it. You’ll coach and train individual members of the team, maximising efficiency and ensuring all team members are motivated and engaged. You’ll be measuring and monitoring processes to ensuring standards are kept high and KPI’s are met.

You’ll have a good understanding of mail order/e-commerce distribution centre, have previous experience of managing stock processes and have the ability to solve problems. Flexible approach to changing shift patterns to ensure all needs are met. You’ll possess great attention to detail and have a real passion for all things customer service!
