Role Summary:

 

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”. The primary purpose of the Senior Online Content Assistant is to work together with the online trade team and optimise the site and help drive all the KPI.

 

This role will be responsible for managing products and promotions across all current and future websites UK, US, Germany, Europe, Australia & rest of the world.

The role plays a vital role within the team by working closely with the Trade, Buying, Marketing, Merchandising and Design departments to ensure Promotions, product, and category maintenance is up to date.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

*            Responsible for the weekly maintenance of websites to ensure product listings are managed across all categories

*            Working closely with the wider Web team to execute smooth and timely season launches

*            Product category owner alongside Trade team, working with Buying to ensure products are optimised

*            Setting up all promotions for web, print and email testing from functionality before launch

*            Using product reports liaising with B&M, and Trade team to ensure core product categories are set up

*            Creating ad hoc categories based on customer needs e.g. Christmas gifting

*            Responsible for weekly product launches throughout the season and maintaining product detail and product listing pages

*            Conducting daily site walks highlighting findings and action if amends are required

*            Building homepage content aligning with key marketing messages

*            Training new team members

*            Dealing with customer queries shared by the customer service team

Person Specification:

 

Experience Required

 

*            12 months experience within ecommerce or similar role

*            Excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills

*            Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel

*            Proactive and highly motivated team player

*            Strong attention to detail

*            Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively

 

Experience Desirable

*            Basic skills in HTML

*            Salesforce experience
