Role Summary:

 

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”. The primary purpose of the E-Commerce Administrator is to support the online merchandising team and drive conversion rate.

 

This role will be responsible for updating all current and future websites UK, US, Germany, Europe, Australia & rest of the world. The role plays a vital role within the team by working closely with the Web, Buying, Merchandising and Design departments to ensure product and category maintenance is up to date.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

*       Responsible for the weekly maintenance of websites to ensure product listings are managed for both products and categories

*       Working closely with the whole Web team to execute smooth and timely season launches

*       Responsible for creating adhoc categories based on customer needs for example Christmas gifting and wedding

*       Responsible for using products reports and knowledge, as well as liaising with B&M, to ensure that visual merchandising of core categories is to the best standard

*       Responsible for creating adhoc new products throughout the season and maintaining the best standard on product detail pages

*       Responsible for conducting weekly site walks across all sites, and based on

*       findings highlighting opportunities, actions and amends to the site

*       Responsible for homepage and content builds

*       Regular trade reporting to help understand where site improvements can be made as well as conducting competitor analysis

*       Works within team to ensure that customer journeys through the site are optimised and aligned with key marketing messages

*       Helps with quality assessment of site refreshes and changes

*       Adhoc administrative duties for the team

 
 

Experience Required

*       Admin / website experience desirable

*       Excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills

*       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel

*       Proactive and highly motivated team player

*       Strong attention to detail

*       Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively

*       Basic skills in HTML is desirable
