Role Summary:

 

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”. The primary purpose of the Multi-Channel Graphic Designer is to support the Art Director, Senior Design Manager and the rest of the Creative and Marketing teams by providing creative and commercially effective ideas for our direct mail and media campaigns; taking those ideas from concept to completion.

 

The Designer will formulate and implement creative solutions in-line with the business strategy across all channels, delivering brochure and marketing creative on time and to budget. They will also work cross functionally with our Marketing, Buying, Merchandising and Email teams to deliver joint targets and externally liaise with our repro house.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

*       Developing original design concepts and executing designs based on established style guides and in line with corporate guidelines

*       Working on printer brochure, insert, web banners and content pages to Critical Path deadlines

*       Ensuring that the appropriate status of design projects is communicated to the Studio Manager on an ongoing and timely basis

*       Overseeing artwork production to ensure that the initial design concepts/layouts are correctly interpreted to completion

*       Organise, prepare and deliver internal client design presentations

 

Person Specification:

 

Experience Required

*       Understanding of corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in print

*       In-depth knowledge of merchandising and design for a multi-channel business

*       Experience of mail order print production process from input to output and repro
