Reports To: Assistant Branch Merchandiser

Location: Head Office, Cottons Centre, London

 

Role Summary:

 

  • At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”.  The primary purpose of the Branch Merchandising Admin Assistant is to action agreed allocation plans for the store portfolio, ensuring that stores have the correct stock to maximise sales within the planned stock levels and space.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Carry out “new season launch” activities under direction of merchandiser and ensure all relevant tools, reporting and documentation are updated
  • Action allocation amendments in line with seasonal trading requirements to maximise sales opportunities and manage stock room space across all retail stores

*       Review weekly trading reports, taking required action under the direction of the merchandiser

*       Manage in season replenishment activities under the direction of the merchandiser  

  • Review availability reports weekly and report on any issues/opportunities
  • Build strong cross functional relationships with core merchandising to ensure that stock is distributed in line with agreed departmental range plans
  • Provide and analyse commercial information relating to the business strategy
  • Develop a robust knowledge of the store estate to understand territory, regional and store nuances

*       Build effective working relationships with retail, the warehouse and core merchandising 

  • Support the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Set up new store allocations in line with agreed range plans under the direction  of the branch merchandiser

*       Respond to store queries are actioned within the agreed SLA 

*       Take on additional tasks/projects for the wider team’s remit as required

*       Store availability targets are met

*       Successful seasonal “new launch”

*       Weekly trading activities completed in a timely manner

*       SLA targets are met

*       Achieve personal SMART objectives completed

 

Person Specification:

 

Experience Required

*       Previous experience in a retail environment

Technical Skills

*       Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills

*       Proficient excel skills 

 

Qualifications

*       Degree educated 

*       GCSE Maths grade A to C
