Background

They’re brilliant communicators, who motivate the team by leading by example. From opening, running and closing shifts, to processing stock and picking orders, they’re always ready to take charge or get stuck in. Key Responsibilities

 

*       Ensure time deadlines within the busy Warehouse environment are met, working closely with the Warehouse Team Leader to control the workflow and organisation of the team.

*       Minimising day to day issues and ensuring that they are resolved quickly and to a high standard.

*       Ensure accuracy and compliance of all paperwork and reports within the Warehouse team.

*       Effective day-to-day communication between the colleagues, team leaders and the senior team.

*       Effective delegation of work appropriately with the team ensuring resources are shared across the site appropriately and all deadlines are meant and agreed KPI’s are achieved.

*       To manage the team in the absence of the Team Leader.

*       Think customer and ensure that it is at the front of all actions carried out by the team. 

*       Understand and actively promote our core values and behaviours.

*       Ensure the operational environment is maintained in relation to hygiene and cleanliness

 

Person Specification 

 

Experience

  • Assisted with daily shift management
  • Previous experience of Outbound roles 

 

Technical Skills

  • Reliable, trustworthy and team-focussed
  • Self-confident and professional attitude
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent personal organisation skills and customer focused
  • IT literate including competent use of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Able to meet changing and challenging demands with enthusiasm
